Nathan Case of Choice Insurance Solutions named 2008 Sportscover Broker of the Year.

Congratulations to Nathan Case of Choice Insurance Solutions, the 2008 recipient of the Sportscover Broker of the Year award. The award was made at the Sportscover International Brokers Conference which was held at Kirkton Park, Hunter Valley, NSW from 10 to 12 August. The conference was attended by 40 brokers from Australia and
overseas.

Clearly taken aback at winning this prestigious accolade, Nathan said, “it was a total surprise and a massive honour for both myself and for Choice. As we have only been in existence for a relatively short period, this augurs well for the future.”

Having started his insurance career with Royal and Sun Alliance as a junior clerk, it was in 2002 that Nathan seized the opportunity to follow his passion for sport and joined IEA Brokers, a leading sports insurance brokerage at the time which was later acquired by OAMPS.

Capitalising on his experience and initiative, in 2007 Nathan and Larry Ellis established Choice Insurance Solutions, a brokerage based in Queensland, specialising in the sports, leisure and amusement industries. The company has recently become an authorised representative of Ausure Insurance and Finance and is growing rapidly through its industry partnerships with companies such as Sportscover.

With this exciting new business on the increase, Nathan was chosen as this year’s recipient of the award from hundreds of accredited Sportscover brokers worldwide based on several criteria including service, quality of business, quality of documentation, credit control and use of the internet. Other finalists were last year’s
winner, Fred Allsopp of Insurance Advisernet, Paul Milo from JLT, Rowan Reeves of Made Easy Insurance Brokers, Joel Treadwell of Phillips Financial Services and UK broker David Christmas of Endsleigh.

Sportscover is one of the world's leading sports insurance underwriters with offices in Australia, the United Kingdom, Toronto and the Pacific. Using a worldwide broker network, Sportscover specialises in accident, liability, property and contingency insurances for sport. Sportscover’s Lloyd’s syndicate, SCS 3334, managed by Argenta
Syndicate Management Limited, is the only A+ rated dedicated amateur sports insurer
in the world.
