Ausure Insurance Newcastle scoops up more awards
Travis Hargreaves, Founding Director of Ausure Insurance Newcastle, has won the Young Achiever Award for 2010 presented by Allstate at the Ausure Group’s Conference at Hilton Sydney. This award is given to a young individual (under 35) who demonstrates loyalty and dedication, is proactive, focused on achieving and has been identified as an asset to their business.
Travis commenced working at Ausure Head Office, spending time in the Tamworth Branch before starting his own branch in Newcastle from scratch. He later purchased another small brokerage in the local Newcastle area to add to his existing business. Travis then built Ausure Insurance Newcastle to an office of eight staff and won the prestigious Map Marketing Fastest Growing Award in Financial Services in 2008. His success has been further rewarded by Nathan Wicks joining him as a Director in February 2010 to form one of the most respected insurance brokerages in Newcastle.

Ausure Insurance Newcastle was also a finalist in the Fastest Growing Branch Award presented by Centrepoint at the Ausure Conference in April 2010.This award recognises the branch that achieves the highest percentage growth on last year’s earnings and has been with Ausure for the more than 24 months.
The enormous growth and success of the Ausure Group as a whole was clearly evident at the Ausure Conference held at the Sydney Hilton from 18-20 April 2010. The Ausure Group has tripled in size over the past 18 months as 161 new Authorised Representatives from around Australia have recognised the benefits of working in association with the company.
The two-day conference, attended by more than 140 delegates, was a resounding success. More than 100 insurance specialists exhibited at the Ausure Trade Show representing 30 insurance companies. This included companies such as Zurich, Winsure, CGU, QBE, Vero and NTI whose senior members made presentations to delegates and sponsored prizes, awards and events.

Award winning Ausure brokerage appoints expert Nathan Wicks

Nathan Wicks is widely regarded as one of Newcastle and the Hunter’s most experienced and professional Insurance Brokers. Nathan has solid underwriting contacts locally and in Sydney, interstate and overseas including NZ, China, Hong Kong, North America and London. He has been working in the General Insurance industry for over 15 years, including 11 years broking in Newcastle.
